Get to know Atta!
I am a PhD student in Economics at Emory University, where I study the economics of Artificial Intelligence, firm strategy, and market dynamics. My current research examines how firm‑level investments in AI shape broader decisions about intangible capital—particularly how AI‑using firms adjust their investments in assets such as brand capital. More broadly, I am interested in how AI is reshaping the traditional economic landscape.
Outside of economics, I enjoy exploring creative worlds. I read fiction, write short stories, and spend time singing and producing musical content. When I need a quick break from research, you’ll usually find me watching a movie or diving into a new TV series—Netflix is my go‑to escape.
I genuinely enjoy connecting with people and hearing how they see the world through their experiences, values, and stories. It’s always a pleasure to learn from the perspectives of those I meet.
