Get to know Atta!

I am a PhD student in Economics at Emory University, whose research involves the economics of Artificial Intelligence, firm strategy, and market dynamics. My current research examines how firm‑level investments in intangible assets are impacted by decisions to adopt AI-enabled technologies. More broadly, I am interested in how AI and other emerging technologies are reshaping firm-level decisions and affecting market outcomes.

Outside of economics, I enjoy exploring creative worlds. I read fiction, write short stories, and spend time singing and producing musical content. When I need a quick break from research, you’ll usually find me watching a movie or diving into a new series—Netflix is my go‑to escape.

I genuinely enjoy connecting with people and hearing how they see the world through their experiences, values, and stories. It’s always a pleasure to learn from the perspectives of those I meet.
